Welcome to our Course Website, hosted on the CUNY Academic Commons. To navigate around the site, refer to the menu at the top of this page. There you will find the Syllabus (with hyperlinks to all the readings), Homework Prompts, Course Materials (including PDFs of the readings and class handouts), Assignments (containing descriptions of each assignment and a submission button), and “Twelfth Night”, a web-based version of our first major reading of the semester.

The central purpose of the website is to give you smooth access to all the readings and assignments for the course, and to provide a handy communication tool (via the blogroll) for the entire class. Additionally, this site has an annotation tool that facilitates group-reading activities, but more on that functionality later in the semester.

Over the next few days, I will send out instructions for registering as a user on this website and for downloading Hypothesis (which we will start using in March) for annotating texts online.

Until then, feel free to explore the pages of this Course Website.
